Another step towards party supplies

In recent months, we've expanded into a department that's becoming increasingly important for our store. Besides fireworks, party supplies are now among the products many customers are looking for. Balloons and related accessories, in particular, have become an essential part of modern decorations.

The decision to expand our product range with over 150 new items from the PartyDeco brand was the result of a selection process that was more extensive than it initially appears. PartyDeco offers an enormous variety. There are balloons in countless shapes and colors, sets for a wide range of occasions, elegant collections for weddings, playful designs for children's birthdays, and high-quality accessories that make a successful arrangement possible.

Making the selection alone was a challenge in itself. We saw the products live for the first time at a trade fair and immediately realized that they stood out significantly from many other suppliers. The materials appear high-quality, the colors and shapes are modern, and the design demonstrates a great attention to detail. That was precisely what was crucial for us. We wanted items that were not only decorative but also visually appealing and would fit into our product range in the long term.

With this decision, the real work began. Managing a product range of this size means not only ordering products, but also integrating them cleanly and completely into our system. Even with PartyDeco's support in the form of Excel data and images, cataloging over 150 items remains a demanding task.

Each balloon requires precise specifications: its shape, size, material, and color. All accessories must also be clearly described, from balloon sticks and weight holders to special helium or air kits. Each of these details must be individually checked and correctly identified.

Digitization was a decisive advantage. Previously, we would have had to perform many of these steps manually. Today, large amounts of data can be efficiently structured using Excel and well-prepared tools. With the appropriate functions and support from ChatGPT, we were able to clean data, sort products, check image files, and create meaningful categories. Nevertheless, this process still involves a great deal of manual work and care.

With our new PartyDeco products, we now cover an even wider range of occasions: birthdays, weddings, baby showers, anniversaries, small gatherings, or larger celebrations. We now offer suitable products for many of these events, directly from us. This range will continue to grow in the long term, as party supplies are a sector that thrives on creativity and trends.

This expansion clearly demonstrates our approach. We select products because they convince us. We integrate them in a way that ensures they are presented clearly and concisely in both the store and the online shop. And we combine quality, variety, and digital processes.
